I love a trip to the zoo. We are passport holders at Howletts wildlife park and are pretty regular visitors. On Sunday we were lucky enough to see Damian Aspinall in the enclosure with a couple of Gorillas. The interaction and trust between him and the animals was incredible to watch.
From a photographic point of view the show was not so good. All of this was happening at the far side of the enclosure. The choice of viewpoints were the green bars of the caging or through a perspex viewing panel.
I managed to get a few shots but these two are may favourites.
